R_Tech Group has established a product development approach that promotes design for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). Design teams focus on key aspects that lead to product compliance before testing begins. Attention to circuit design topologies, critical component selection, and printed circuit board layout are a few examples of design constraints evaluated prior to EMC testing.
The product design approach identifies specific regulatory compliance goals up front and implements resolutions during the development process. Compliance engineers consult directly with the design team early in the planning and feasibility phase to help determine applicable EMC requirements and strategies. The Compliance engineers participate in design reviews and offer on-site expertise, starting with the initial conceptual design and working through the final verification testing. The ability to concurrently design and test ensures a balance between compliance requirements, design goals, cost targets, and manufacturability.
